SWISS TRAVEL PASS – CONTINUOUS

The Swiss Travel Pass is available in two types: Continuous where you can choose 3,4 8 or 15 consecutive days of travel from your first date of travel or Flexible, for the same amount of days but allowing you to freely select the days you wish to travel within a one period month, from time of validation.

Seat Reservation

Most trains in Switzerland do not require reservations. You can simply board with your rail pass and take any available seat. Reservations are required on scenic trains like the Bernina Express, Chocolate Train, Glacier Express and the Gotthard Panorama Express. They are also required for international trains.

Free Family Card

Children aged 6-15 years accompanied by at least one parent travel free. Children travelling without their parents receive a 50% reduction of the adult individual Swiss Pass or Swiss Flexi Pass.

SWISS TRAVEL PASS FLEX

The Swiss Travel Pass Flex allows travellers to freely choose their travelling days within a month. You travel on the Swiss Travel System network for 3, 4, 8 or 15 non-consecutive days within a month; on the selected days, you benefit from the same great possibilities as when travelling with a Swiss Travel Pass. The Swiss Travel Pass Flex also offers on your selected days 50% reduction on most mountain railways and cable cars and includes the Swiss Museum Pass, allowing you free entrance to 500 museums and exhibitions.

IMPORTANT: With a Swiss Travel Pass Flex, the attachment you receive in your booking confirmation email is only a receipt and NOT a valid travel document. With this pass, you need to activate your travel days on activateyourpass.com and then you will be given valid tickets for each activated travel day. These can be shown either in printed form or on a mobile device when tickets are being checked. Activated travel days can be changed any number of times up until the selected travel day. Once the pass has been booked and issued, the start date on the pass cannot be changed.

SWISS HALF FARE CARD

The Half Fare Card allows unlimited purchase of train, bus, boat and some cable car tickets at half price* within the one month validity. The Swiss Half-Fare Card is especially beneficial to motorists.

This pass is only available to non-residents of Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

* Over short distances (because of minimum fare), on urban public transport systems, on reduced tickets or for some combined offers with additional services, the discount with a Half-Fare travelcard may be less than 50%.
